The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Scholarship Foundation and local restaurants invite you to save the cooking for Thanksgiving and treat yourself to a night – or two – on the town! Beginning Monday, November 15 through Thursday, November 18, 2021, participating restaurants will donate 5% of their profits from your check to the Foundation (the purchase of alcoholic beverages is excluded).
“We are excited to work with our local restaurants to host, what we hope will become, an annual restaurant week event,” says Joy Donaldson, Foundation Trustee, and lead organizer of the event. “The participating restaurants will be providing generous support to this endeavor. We look forward to seeing our friends in the community dining out and enjoying some of the area’s best culinary experiences while supporting the Foundation.”
Dine-in, pickup, and direct from establishment delivery orders qualify. Orders via third-party delivery services such as UberEATS, Grub Hub, DoorDash, etc., are not eligible for this fundraising event.
“The cancellation and postponement of so many community events caused by the pandemic had an effect on our fundraising efforts. In the spirit of the Thanksgiving season, we look forward to this event supporting our local businesses as well as the many students deserving of scholarship support,” says Foundation President, Michelle Wywra.
